electrocardiograph: an instrument used in the detection and diagnosis of heart abnormalities that measures electrical potentials on the body surface and generates a record of the electrical currents associated with heart muscle activity.

i was diagnosed with
Kawasaki disease when i was a year old. an ekg was used on me when i had the heart disease. supposedly i went through numerous tests like this and taking blood samples every once in a while for a few years, but the ekg is the only thing i remember.
